Dr. Vandana Lulla

Director of Total Quality Management and Assurance - CAIE

She is the Vice President of the South Asian International Baccalaureate Schools Association (SAIBSA). Her experience lies in establishing the foundation of the international curriculum – IB & Cambridge in India! She has been appointed as an Accreditation team member on the prestigious Council of International Schools Accreditation Team and has been on the Accreditation team for schools in India, Hong Kong, China, and Indonesia. She has also been appointed by CFBT London to inspect schools in the UAE and has inspected more than 200 schools in Dubai. Year after year repeatedly, she has created ‘World and India Toppers’ at the Cambridge and the University of London Examinations. She has been bestowed with the Rajya Puraskar Award by Maharashtra State Government for selfless work done in the field of education and the ‘Global Accreditation Award’ by the British Council for undertaking a research project on developing higher-order thinking skills in students. She has also recently been awarded the Prestigious Mahatma Gandhi Leadership Award for Outstanding services in Education by Ms. Preet Kaur Gill, Member of Parliament, the UK at the House of Lords, UK. RIS is honored to have Dr. Vandana Lulla on board as the Director of Total Quality Management and Assurance – CAIE. Her expertise will help us to build a sustainable and highly fertile educational ecosystem in K -12 section!
He steadily endeavoured in the field of education, commencing his journey from being an English teacher to being a vice-principal and then as a Principal of the school for 7 uninterrupted years. His great understanding, skills, and diligent efforts led him to be promoted as Head of Examinations for the Sharjah Private Education Authority. The Sharjah Private Education Authority was established by Emiri Decree No. 45 of 2018 issued by His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council/Ruler of the Emirate of Sharjah. The authority represents the local authority responsible for the affairs of private education institutions (nurseries, schools, centres and institutes).
He served as the head for 5 years. Later he was given the additional responsibility as the Head of Quality Management in the same Authority. Abdelaziz Elyas contributed more than 30 years of his life in the field of education, laying down a foundation of knowledge, and got retired in 2017. Now he serves on the advisory board panel of RIS as the Director of International Collaborations.
